I was hoping for an authentic Japanese menu. Steak with fries, string beans and mashed potatoes - it couldn’t be more American. The decor is dated, plates and cutlery were old.

The owners themselves were acting as the waiters, so they were overwhelmed and all over the place. (And what’s the automatic 18% tip for when there are no real waiters?)

But most of all, the flavors just weren’t good, and certainly not for this price point.
